Caitlin Broadbent
Sadly Caitlin passed away on 2nd July 2008 aged 7 years old. She lived in wakefield with her family. Caitlin was diagnosed with the rare form of childhood cancer neuroblastoma in May last year and was not expected to live until Christmas. But she proved to be a little fighter, and in February doctors said they were astounded by her remarkable progress.
Her family were devastated when she took a turn for the worse last week and a trip to the hospital revealed a tumour on her liver had spread.

R.I.P CAITLIN

God looked around His garden
and saw an empty place
He then looked down upon the earth
and saw your tired face.
He knew you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He also knew in Heaven
you would never hurt again.
So,He put His arms around you
and lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best.

somebody has kindly made a memorial video for caitlin and they have put it on you tube and have asked me to pass the message to her friends and family. just go to you tube and type in caitlin broadbent.

I think !!!!!

Why God took you Caitlin, nobody knows,
I think HE wanted a Special Rose.
Just think, HE chose you from all of the rest,I think HE knew HE had taken the best.
Your Mum and your Dad, HE entrusted with you and,
I think there's a special place just for them too.
I think Heaven's the place we all want to be, but He's making it more beautiful, for THEM, and for me.
God Blees you Little Angel, and all your family and friends.
Glenn and Katie and Jennifer.
Love and kisses.

A Child Loaned
I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine', he said,
'For you to love the while she lives,
and mourn for when she's dead.
She may be six or seven years,
or even two or three,
But will you, till I call her back,
take care of her for me?
She'll bring her charm to gladden you,
and, should her stay be brief,
You'll have her lovely memories as solace for your grief.

I cannot promise she will stay,
since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.
I've looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true
And from the throng that crowd life's lanes I have selected you.
Now will you give her all your love,
nor think the labour's vain,
Nor hate me when I come to call
and take her back again?'

I fancied that I heard them say,
'Dear Lord, thy will be done,
For all the joys thy child shall bring
the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter her with tenderness,
we'll love her while we may
And for the happiness we've known for ever grateful stay.
But, should the angels call for her
much sooner than we'd planned
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.

a letter from heaven

To my dearest family, sum things id like to say. But first ov all to let u know that i arrived okay. Im writing this from heaven. Here i dwell with god above. Here, theres no more tears of sadness, here is just eternal luv. Please dont be unhappy just bacause im out ov sight. Remenber that im with u every morning, noon and night. That day i had to leave u when my life on earth was through. God picked me up and me and he said i welcome u. God gave me a list ov things that he wished for me to do. And foremost on the list was to watch and care for u. And when u lie in bed at night the days chores put to flight. God and i are closet to u.......in the middle ov the night. When u think ov my life on earth, and all those loving years. Because u are only human, they are bound to bring u tears. But dont be afraid to cry. There are rocky roads ahead ov u and many hills to climb. But together we can do it one day at a time. When youre walking down the street and youve me on your mind. Im walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. And when its time for u to go from that body to be free. Remenber youre not going, youre coming here to be with me .XXXXXXXLove CaitlinXXXXX

I'll always love you

I'm always here
always around
Always with you
I don't make a sound.

I'm always listening
always aware
I'm always your little girl
I'll always be there.

I'm always beside you
always so near.
I'm always watching
when you shed a tear.

I'm always listening
when you talk to me
Always attentive
I'll always agree.

I'll always remember
we always had fun
Always so special,
our days in the sun.

I'll always be with you
when you're laughing out loud
I'm always right by you
when you're in a crowd.

I'll always be waiting
I always will care
When you come to meet me
I will be there.
